Products | What are ITA Bags?

Think of an ITA bag as a canvas you can carry. It is not just for holding your daily essentials but for celebrating the things you love most. Originating from Japanese street fashion, ITA bags feature a clear window so you can proudly display enamel pins, keychains, plushies, fan art or anything that shows off your personality.

Products | What are Enamel Pins?

Enamel pins are small metal accessories with a smooth enamel coating that brings designs to life in vivid colour. They are a fun way to personalise clothing, bags and other accessories, and they often become little badges of identity or interest.

Some people wear enamel pins to show off their favourite fandoms, hobbies or causes. Others collect them and display them on boards, in cases or, of course, inside their ITA bags. Each pin is both a decoration and a tiny piece of art you can carry with you.

Returns & Warranty | What is your Return, Warranty & Refund policy for Backerkit rewards?

WARRANTY: All bags in this campaign come with a one-year warranty. Should your bag arrive damaged (e.g. damage during shipment) or should have any issues or defects, please reach out to us and we will arrange a replacement immediately. For any issues, please contact us at [email protected].

REFUNDS: Once the Backerkit campaign ends, you will get charged by Backerkit for the reward & shipping cost that you have selected. Once Backerkit has processed the charge, we are unable to offer refunds as the collected pledges will be used to fund the production of the rewards.

RETURNS: As Backerkit considers the products that we ship as “rewards” rather than standard retail purchases, we are unable to process any returns

Yes we are shipping worldwide & use global postal carriers to deliver your pledge rewards.

Shipping & Fulfilment | When will I get my rewards?

We are aiming to send out most rewards by end of February/ early March 2026.

[Australia] We will be shipping with AustraliaPost, FedEx or TNT. Most shipments to Metro areas will arrive within 2-3 business days. Rural areas sometimes have slightly longer time frames. We will be shipping from Alexandria NSW 2015 - you can use this postcode to check how long your shipment might take.

[United States] We will be shipping with FedEx International Connect Plus (Express Service), which delivers from Australia to the United States within 2-3 business days. We will also be shipping our parcels as “DDP” (Delivered Duty Paid), hence our shipments will have be pre-cleared for customs.

[Rest of the World] Orders typically arrive within 5-20 business days for most international shipments. Shipping times are out of our hands unfortunately, so we recommend checking with your national postal carrier, how long shipments from Australia typically take.

Shipping & Fulfilment | How will shipping cost be calculated during the survey?

We have provided shipping cost estimates in our campaign story, which are based on current shipping rates from our usual shipping carriers (FedEx, Australia Post, DHL, Singapore Post etc.). We simply calculate the weight for each pledge level and the dimensions on how each pledge level will be packaged to determine the estimated shipping cost.

Costs at this stage are estimated, as shipping carriers like to change up their rates from time to time, so the final shipping cost will be determined when you submit your survey. However, we are super confident that our rate estimates in our campaign story are very close to the final rates!

Shipping & Fulfilment | What if my reward gets damaged during shipping?

Should your reward arrive damaged, please reach out to use and will arrange a replacement reward for you. Simply send us an email to [email protected] & include a brief description and a few photos of the label, any damages to packaging and the damage to the reward itself, so we can file a claim with the shipping company.

Shipping & Fulfilment | Can I change my shipping address after pledging?

Yes you can - we will only start collecting shipping address information during our backer survey once the campaign has ended.

If you need to change your shipping address after you have submitted the survey, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We will only be able to change your address, if we haven’t shipped out your reward yet.

Shipping & Fulfilment | Are duties & taxes included in my pledge?

[Australia] As we are based in Australia and shipping from Australia, GST is included in your pledge. As we are shipping domestically, customs duties do not apply.

[United States] For US backers, applicable duties and taxes will be collected during the Backerkit survey submission, in addition to shipping costs. US orders will ship via FedEx Express and are sent as Delivered Duties Paid (DDP). This means all required duties and taxes are paid upfront, and you won’t be charged anything when your package is delivered.

[Rest of the World] For backers outside the United States, shipping costs are collected through Backerkit, but duties, VAT, or other import taxes are not collected during the survey. If applicable, these charges may be requested by your local customs authority or courier at the time of delivery. The exact amount and process vary by country and are set by local authorities.

All rewards ship from Australia. Australia has customs or tax-free arrangements with some countries, but this varies by destination and order value. If you’re unsure whether additional charges may apply, we recommend checking with your local customs authority.

Shipping & Fulfilment | Which postal carriers do you use?

For domestic shipments within Australia, we mostly use AustraliaPost, FedEx or TNT.

For shipments to the United States, we use FedEx’s Express shipping services (FedEx International Connect Plus).

For all other international shipments, we use our carrier Quantium Solutions (owned by Singapore Post) which then cooperates with your local national postal delivery service, e.g. DHL, Royal Mail, Canada Post, Deutsche Post etc.

Rewards & Add-Ons | How do I choose Pins, Charms & Air Fresheners if my pledge level has those included?

After the campaign ends, we will send you a backer survey, where you can choose the pin, charms and air fresheners that you would like to have included with your shipment. During that survey we will also collect essential shipping details, such as your address & contact details.

Production & Quality | Have prototypes been tested?

Yes we have already tested the prototypes of all of the bags that are in the campaign & have used those prototypes to take all the photos that you can see on our campaign page.

Production & Quality | How are you ensuring quality control?

We have more than ten years of experience in designing, creating and testing bags, and every new product builds on that foundation. Each prototype we receive from our supplier is carefully tested for strength, durability and manufacturing quality.

Since this campaign focuses on durability, we paid extra attention to testing the weight capacity and toughness of these designs. The photos you see on this page were taken with our working prototypes, so you are seeing the real look and feel of the designs in development. While the final production bags will be very close to what is shown here, please note that minor adjustments may be made during the final manufacturing process to ensure the best possible quality.

[US Backers only] Where do I pay import duties?

Your payable import duties are already included in your shipping cost. We ship each order as Delivered Duty Paid to the United States, meaning that you won’t have to pay any extra customs duties upon delivery.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
